The prize-winner of the European championship and the champion of command eurosuperiority injured a knee last week, on one of trainings before Moscow "Grand Slam", and for this reason passed this tournament.

"As showed research, Tsiklauri needs a meniscus operation. But after all there is a hope that doctors will be able to bring him to the Brazilian tatami. There were cases when during a similar trauma athletes parallel to treatment continued to train and even took part in tournaments. I hope, as in case of Levan Tsiklauri will be also", – the president of federation of judo of Georgia David Kevkhishvili declared.

The national team of Georgia will spend the next week to Sochi where passes the joint collecting. Levan Tsiklauri at this stage doesn't train. That, will act or not it on a WC, it becomes known in the near future.
