The national team of Georgia on judo after end of Moscow "Grand Slam" for two days remained in the capital of Russia and carried out trainings. From July 24th to July 31st the team trained by Irakly Uznadze will take part in the joint collecting which will take place in Sochi under the auspices of the union of judo of Europe.
Some judoists from Moscow returned to Tbilisi, and those her members whom wasn't in the demand for "Grand Slam" joined the national team.
According to the official page of federation of judo of Georgia in Facebook, to Sochi from Moscow went: Amiran Papinashvili (60 kg), Zebeda Rekhviashvili (73 kg), Levan Tsiklauri (81 kg), Varlam Liparteliani (90 kg), Nodar Metreveli (100 kg) and Adam Okruashvili (+100 kg), and from Tbilisi - Lasha Shavdatuashvili (66 kg), Nugzar Tatalashvili (73 kg), Avtandil Chrikishvili (81 kg) and Levan Zhorzholiani (100 kg). Allegedly, on the Sochi collecting it becomes known, the injured Levan Tsiklauri will be able or not to participate in the World Cup in Brazil.
After return to Georgia the national team will carry out final collecting a preparatory cycle to a ChW to Kvareli. Exactly there the structure from 9 judoists on a WC will be called. And in Brazil the national team will arrive in a week prior to tournament.
The ChW in Rio de Janeiro will begin on August 26th and will come to the end on September 1st.
