MONGOLIAN GOLD GRIGORIEVA

Russian Alexander Grigoriev on Sunday won the higher award of tournament of Gran Pri Ulan Bator in category 90 kg. This award became single for our national team in Mongolia.
The winner of youth Superiority of the country, the prize-winner of the Championship of Russia Aleksandr GRIGORIEV (90 kg) the ippon passed the representative of the United Arab Emirates of Chisk in the capital of Mongolia, a vase-ari benefited against Kazakh Bolat, and in a semi-final Hutagom won a flawless victory over the Mongol. In a decisive meeting the Russian was more convincing than Ukrainian Kovtunov, two throws having achieved the clear advantage which has brought gold of tournament in Ulan Bator.
Two other Russian judoists in category 100 kg remained the fifth. Philippe Ivanov, having lost in the second circle to Israeli Sasson, in a duel for bronze I passed a throw from Korean Kim and remained behind line of prize-winners, and Alexander Dankov at the same stage conceded to Czech Horak in the main grid, and to the same Israeli Sasson – in fight for the third place.
On house tournament the Mongolian athletes became the strongest – on the account of masters of a tatami of 26 awards (7-7-12). At the Koreans who have taken the second place - 12 medals (4-3-5), and at Czechs (1-0-1) – the third. Russians with one gold medal Grigorieva  – on the fifth place of the final protocol.
In next weekends the strongest judoists of a planet will gather in Moscow on the prestigious tournament "Grand Slam" with a prize fund of 150 thousand US dollars.
