MONGOLIA BEGINS HISTORY GRAN PRI

The Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator is ready to opening of the tournament first in its history on judo of level of the Grand Prix. Competitions will take place in "Buyant Ukhaa" sport center on Saturday and Sunday 13 on July 14.
On the eve of tournament in the capital of Mongolia the first day of Naadaam of a festival – the largest in the country of a bright national holiday during which dancers, athletes, horseback riders on horses and musicians submitted the colourful festive program was celebrated. For the Mongolia which has received two medals on the last Olympic Games in London, tournament becomes in the excellent way to give an impetus to judo development, and for her athletes – opportunity in house walls to gather important points for a world rating in the run-up to the August World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. It should be noted that tournament got support of the Government of Mongolia and its President Tsakhiagiyn Elbegdorzha.
The Russian national team will be presented in Ulan Bator by eight people. Seven domestic judoists and one judoist will move dispute for Gran's awards at with rivals from 17 countries. Into our team entered: the champion of Russia Maxim Kuznetsov and the medallist of the Cup of the country Roman Bekulov (they are 66 kg), the world champion among police officers, the medallist of the championship of Russia Alexey Astafyev (73), winners of youth Superiority of the country Leo Fogel (73), Alexander Grigoriev (90) and Alexander Dankov (100), the medallist of Superiority of Europe Philippe Ivanov (100) and the vice-champion of junior Russia Paulina Molchanov (52).
Certainly, owners of tournament will have the most representative team – Mongols. In their national team of 56 people, on four in each of 14 categories. Fourteen people in team of Korea, twelve men in delegation of China, eleven (the 7th man and 4 women) - at Hong Kong.
In the first day, on Saturday, on a tatami in Ulan Bator medals in four female – 48, 52, 57 both 63 kg, and three man's scales – 60, 66 and 73 kg will be played. And on Sunday medallists in the remained seven categories will be defined. The beginning of competitions in the 11th mornings local time (it advances Moscow at four o'clock). The final block with draw of medals will begin at 17.00.
