Our newspaper already reported that recently Ilya Kolchev returned from Paris where participated in the judo European championship among masters. The age category was 30-34 years, weight — to 60 kilograms. The resident of Yelets surely won against Italian Marko Mangino, Frenchman Rishar Geleton and Ukrainian Sergey Morokhovts. As a result — a gold medal.

In the capital of France Ilya Kolchev visited Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Triumphal arch, Notre-Dame. What there competitions: near similar sights it is possible to think only of rest! Probably, the ordinary tourist would argue exactly so. But Ilya Kolchev has other priorities which allowed it to become the strongest in Europe once again.

France, Italy, Germany, Portugal — Yelets sportsmen thanks to sports I visited almost all Europe. Last year Ilya Kolchev won "gold" in the World Cup in Miami (USA). But if to ask it where it is best of all, calls not Paris, Berlin or Lisbon, and … St. Petersburg. Also will add: "It is the most beautiful city let not planets, but Europe precisely".

Certainly, native Yelets is expensive to Ilya. The sixth year he works the chief specialist of committee on physical culture and sport of city administration. In conversation — idle time, quiet, in something modest. Despite holiday, agreed to meet the correspondent of "LSG". Delicate, respects the senior companions. We ask it: "Who with you trained at sport school? ". "Dmitry Savchishkin, Valery Merenkov …" — he answers. But in a moment adds: "More precisely, not they, and I with them trained".

… Once to Yelets children, together with parents having a rest on a camp site, trainer Nikolay Roschupkin approached and suggested to try judo. Among children there was also small Ilya. He studied in initial classes of school No. 24, and the sports section settled down in other, luchkovsky part of the city. But Kolchev's long distance didn't confuse.

With a bag on a shoulder, in the winter and in the summer, it left every day the house in the residential district "Elta" and went down on the mountain. The road to Luchok took half an hour, and this time was to be adjusted enough on training. And after it to analyse the past occupations and to expect the beginning of the next sports day.

Trainings were intense, and not all sustained loading. But the circle of the friends who are rather devoted to the business was created. And though judo — an individual sport, they had a solid team. Wrestlers still communicate, call up and meet with each other.

First victory … As much it means to any wrestler. Ilya Kolchev began with superiority of sport school, then level of competitions of dews: regional, All-Russian, international. It would seem, nothing comes out of the sack but what was in it. But Ilya Kolchev so doesn't consider: "There is a wish to win beautifully and quickly. It is necessary to be in good shape and work constantly over equipment. Perfection doesn't have a limit".

Ilya Kolchev participates in public life. For example, it is always active in holidays in kindergarten which five-year-old son Gleb and three-year-old daughter Paulina visit it. The head of family with pleasure carries out master classes: example for imitation — the best advertizing of a healthy lifestyle.

However, he doesn't think of trainer's work yet. After all one business — to endure about the friend, another — about own pupil. Days off prefers to spend with a family — with children and spouse Olga has a rest always actively, for example, arranges bicycle walks.

At Ilya Kolchev there isn't a lot of free time. Especially if to consider that he goes in also for science. This year the Yelets judoist ends a magistracy of sports faculty of EGU of a name of Bunin. Before it I graduated at physical and mathematical faculty. Its dissertation work is devoted to development of special endurance in athletes which, by sight the young scientist, is one of factors of successful performance — in particular, wrestlers. Thus Kolchev doesn't deny the desire further to be improved in science.

Despite employment, Ilya tries to get on well at everything and everywhere. As he admits, sports activities so tempered its character that it almost doesn't pay attention to arising difficulties.

In his life there was everyone: both the deserved victories, and bitter defeats. But Kolchev continues to go forward. In the next fall the judoist plans to participate in the championship of Russia among masters in Magnitorsk and to be overcome for the permit to the United Arab Emirates where the World Cup will take place.
