At the end of May in the sanatorium territory "Lesnaya Pesnya" open tournament on judo "A cup of Shatsky lakes" in which 270 athletes from the Volynsk, Zakarpatye, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov areas and four regions of the next Belarus took part took place.

Better owners of competitions acted - in team of Shatsky DYuSSh there were 11 winners. Also teams from Uzhgorod and the cities Outdoor (The Ivano-Frankovsk Region) - On three winners caused a stir.

After tournament for the best athletes were organized a master class in which the athletes who have achieved big successes in judo shared the skill: double Olympic prize-winner Roman Gontyuk, double champion of Europe and prize-winner of the World Cup Gennady Beloded, silver prize-winner of the World Cup Vitaly Buben. Each of participants of a master class could be overcome personally with outstanding athletes, be photographed and get the autograph.

The executive director of Federation of judo of Volhynia Vitaly Tereshkevich noted that this tournament already became traditional: "While the second, but I hope, there will be the 20th, the 30th... And to carry out it in even best hall. Also there will be even more people. Tournament representative as we have guests of honor, is participants from abroad".

Double Olympic prize-winner Roman Gontyuk noted that is very pleasant that in Shatska judo revived and becomes more increasing every year of children. "These small children - our future. Today presence of three deserved masters of sports we want them to support and to show that we aren't indifferent to our sport", - the titled judoist told.
