The master of sports of the USSR, Victor Mikhaylovich Prudnikov, was one of founders of judo in our city. It prepared a group of talented athletes and brought up many worthy people. Always with professionalism treated the charged business, was the good trainer, the kind person and the reliable friend. A year ago heart of this remarkable person ceased to fight — today it with us isn't present, but his business lives, and light memory of it remains in our hearts.

The Yasinovatsky school of judo successfully develops and adequately represents our city at various competitions.

At the initiative of pupils of all generations of V. M. Prudnikov, in memory of it, sports club "Dzyudo" I organized and I held Open tournament on judo wrestling among young men: 1999-2000; 2001-2003 of river. On three tatamis placed in the sports hall of a hostel No. 5 of construction technical school, on May 25 passed interesting, fascinating fights of young wrestlers. Athletes took part in competitions from the cities: Donetsk, Makeyevka, Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Gorlovka, Enakiyevo, Red Estuary, Yalta and Yasinovata.

On parade of opening there were young participants and representatives of teams, officials and guests of tournament. With welcome speech acted: the chief of Lokomotiv FGC, the director of SK "Judo" — I.V. Havikov, the director of Donetsk regional SDYuSShOR of types of wrestling — S.A.Krapivkin, the director of Yasinovatsky city DYuSSh — R.I.Kostenko, Victor Mikhaylovich's pupils, the president of FPK "DMS", the deputy of Donetsk city council — A.N. Alyosha and the representative of Yasinovatsky management of rail transportation — Yu.N.Faraonov. Many kind words were told about Victor Mikhaylovich by colleagues, with warmth pupils remembered the trainer, that care with which they were surrounded. With the parting word his son, the Master of sports of Ukraine addressed to young athletes on sambo and judo, the bronze prize-winner of the World Cup in sambo, the champion of Ukraine on judo — Y.V. Prudnikov.

Among winners and prize-winners of tournament there are also yasinovatsky wrestlers in various weight categories. Won: Grigory Mitalap (25кг), Renat Hankishiyev (34кг), Silver prize-winners became: Dzhanik Amiryan (25кг), Anton Shugaleev (30кг), Maxim Pasichnyuk (46 kg). Daniel Dubovik (25 kg), Ivan Sidorchuk (25 kg) and Sergey Steshchenko (42 kg) got bronze. According to the solution of a judiciary board the special prize "For the Best Equipment" awarded to Mikhail Prudnikov, the winner of tournament in category to 42 kg (Donetsk). Winners and prize-winners of tournament are awarded by diplomas, medals, pennants, cups and figurines "Wrestlers". The organizing committee expresses huge gratitude to the director of Yasinovatsky construction technical school T.A.Antonenko and the head of a physical education E.V.Izyumchenko for providing sports base and the help in carrying out competitions. On completion of tournament the decision to make it traditional is made.
