On open tournament of sport school "Chayka" young judoists competed. Best of all athletes from Zaporozhye acted. At them five first places. Sevastopoltsam got three.

In Sevastopol passed open tournament of child junior sports school "Chayka" on judo of memory of Vasily Oshchepkov. 92 judoists participated in the championship from 8 to 10 years, from them three girls. Participants of competitions represented seven cities of the South of Ukraine: Sevastopol, Simferopol, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Genichesk, Saki, Golaya Prystan. They combated on a tatami in ten weight categories.

The greatest number of the first places — five — won Zaporozhetses Ivan Goncharov, Vladislav Udod, Archie Bigvava and Dmitry Onypko (I received gold medals in two weight categories). The three first a place — took representatives of Sevastopol -Daniila Nemchenko, Alexander Chuyev, Darya Egorova . Two gold medals were won by simferopolets Maxim Nikulin and Jahmal Seitov.

Participants awarded with special prizes in the nominations. Award "For the best equipment" received Vladislav Udod from Zaporozhye and Daniel Nemchenko from Sevastopol. "For the will to win" awarded Timur Aliyev (Sevastopol) and Vladimir Yatsyk (Nikolaev). In the nomination "For the Most Beautiful Throw" judoists from Zaporozhye Archie Bigvava and Vladislav Udod became best. For the fastest duel prizes awarded to sevastopolets to the Eden to Seit-Umerov who won a meeting on the third second and to Evgeny Liseytsev who has finished a duel on the fourth second. The most younger participant of tournament Mikhail Krivlo (2006) also received a gift.

Eight-year-old Daniel Nemchenko — the champion of Sevastopol and the prize-winner of the championship of the Crimea on judo — participated in tournament in two weight categories. In the category (23 kg) it won a gold medal, and in category of 25 kg — silver.

— Daniel — future Olympic champion, is engaged in judo three years at the best trainer Victor Belozerov — the father of the boy Vladimir Nemchenko speaks. — In the category he well fought, and in weight category of 25 kg participated for experience, sustained seven duels, was tired and rivals were strong. The son painfully treats defeats, before competitions we are adjusted only on a victory. It turns out not always, but always on a pedestal.
