On April 13, 2013 in a gym "Spartak" is organized and held by department of youth policy, sports and culture of administration of the Luga municipal area traditional tournament on memory judo by resident from Lugy Edward Yablokov

The international debt which has lost at execution as a part of the limited contingent of the Soviet armies in the republic Afghanistan. This tournament is the card of the Luga area, is known in all Severo – the Western region and plays an essential role in increase of a rating of the area, in judo development, as sport.

Directly on April 13, the area met more than 200 participants 2003 – 2004 and 2005 – 2006 from St.-Petersburg, Pskov, Veliky Novgorod, Apatity, Vsevolozhsk area, Pine Pine forest, Gatchina, the Amicable Hill, Lomonosov and Tosno.

On tournament the Luga area pupils of office of judo of Detsko – the junior sports school, won in the age and weight categories represented the following places:

- I-e place: Tchernikov Mikhail.

- II-e place: Karasev Victor, Resident of Samara Artem, Mikhaylov Grigory.

- III-e place: Timoshin Kirill, Metroshenko Evgeny, Yablokov Andrey, Vasilyev Artem, Bobrakov Mikhail, Bogdanik Leonid, Gorobchik Alexander, Fayzullin Salimm.

Besides, Yablokov Andrey was awarded by the separate prize "For the Will to Win".

Following the results of tournament all prize-winners were awarded by cups, medals and diplomas of department of youth policy, sports and culture of administration of the Luga municipal area.
