In Sumy held the integrated judo championship of area. On a sport center tatami "Olymp" as experiment during one superiority judoists of three age groups - from 8 to 25 years fought. The championship brought together athletes from Sumy, Trostyants, Gluhov, Romnov, Konotop, Akhtyrka.

About 400 participants played 37 sets of awards. 14 gold medals from 37 possible were won by representatives of the regional center (trainers Nikolay Silkin, Maya Burym, Roman Lynnik, Kirill Machula and Oksana Kvitchenko). Among champions in the weight categories Nikita Guzenko, Rodion Golybin, Sergey Archipenko, Vladislav Besedovsky, Anastasia Mazna, Roman Zanchenko, Anatoly Steblyanko.



Representatives Romnov (trainer Alexander Bogush) and Akhtyrki (trainer Yury Meerovich) got to the three of the best.



For all wrestlers last competitions are an important stage in preparation for the forthcoming competitions. In particular the Federation Cup of judo of the Sumy area on May 15 will be played.



- This start is dated for date of the basis of Federation of judo of the Sumy area, - told UkrainejudoCOM the senior trainer of area Nikolay Silkin. - Teams 2002 year of birth made of athletes will fight "a wall on a wall". Also in the current season three times the strongest masters of a tatami will gather in Sumy from all Ukraine. On April 26 we will begin University games, the All-Ukrainian tournament "Victory Cup" among women and young men 1999-2000, 2001-2003 of river on May 10-12 will take place. For women it is masterful. And at the end of May in Sumy will already pass the official national start second for the importance - the Open Cup of Ukraine.
