In RT Tax committee sport center (46th microdistrict. ) in Dushanbe passed the 1st international tournament on judo in absolute category of memory of Saidmumin Rakhimov.

37 judoists took part in tournament from Afghanistan, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Iran and Tajikistan.

As the Federation of judo of Tajikistan reported, the prize fund of tournament made 10000 US dollars. The winner and prize-winners were awarded by the medals made by the company by "Rukh" of natural semiprecious stones of Tajikistan (lazurite, a coil, onyx).

The memorable Cup was made of lazurite. Tajikistan on this prestigious tournament was presented by 17 judoists two from which ascended to a podium. Final fight was marked by a superiority of owners of tournament over rivals.

In a decisive duel two representatives of Tajikistan - Mukhammadmurod Abdurakhmonov and Abubakr Rakhmonov met. The victory in this fight was won by Abdurakhmonov who became the owner of the Cup of the 1st international tournament of memory of Saidmumin Rakhimov. Soib Kurbonov (Uzbekistan) and Roman Bobikov (Russia) became bronze prize-winners of competitions.
