The deputy of the State Duma Mikhail Markelov who was elected recently the president of the Volgograd regional federation of judo of Russia became the initiator of opening in Krasnoarmeisky district of specialized office of wrestling of judo. He notes that in the long term opening of schools of judo and in other districts of the city.

– Today for us the global task – to take away children from streets, especially those who doesn't see the future and doesn't want to develop, – the deputy speaks. – Judo it not simply sport, is the whole philosophy of life. Certainly, we have to encourage the best athletes. Next year we want to take out the best athletes home judo – to Japan where children will receive invaluable knowledge. Also in Volgograd we plan to hold a meeting of local athletes with the trainer of Russian national team on judo, Italian Ezio Gamba. The live legend near youth is always an excellent example and incentive for children.

Also Mikhail Markelov noted that now in the Volgograd region judo regularly is engaged about 4000 people. It is excellent result, but development prospects still are. Especially as after carrying out the Cup of the governor and superiority of Russia Volgograd became more noticeable at federal level.
