In Krasnoarmeisky district on the basis of child junior sports school No. 18 opened judo school.

The Volgograd athletes waited for school opening some years. Now judoists of Krasnoarmeisky district have own modern hall, ready to contain about 100 athletes.

In honor of opening the judo federation across the Volgograd region presented to school a new tatami.

Opening of school will allow inhabitants of the most young area to sigh quietly. Now it won't be necessary to carry the children for some tens kilometers in the sports Dynamo complex on trainings. Children will be able independently to go to classes.

As the president of the Volgograd regional federation of judo of Russia Mikhail Markelov told, similar schools have to open soon in all districts of the city. In the future it is planned to carry the best athletes of the city home judo to Japan, and literally in April of young judoists the meeting with Italian Ezio Gamba, the trainer of Russian national team on judo waits

Opening of new sports schools, sections, platforms and stadiums is necessary for Volgograd. The city has to become the sports center and provide a free access to platforms to all inhabitants of Volgograd, as this one of requirements of the commission of FIFA for ChM-2018 city organizer.
