In Container passed the XVI regional tournament on judo of "The small cities of Siberia", devoted to memory of the honourable citizen of Tara and the first director teleplant "Kvarts" Vasily Artyomov.

Competitions on a tatami collected 15 teams and 89 participants, but the main medals were played among themselves by representatives of the national teams from Pavlodar, Yekaterinburg and Astana. Ranks of champions of tournament won: Aldiyar Aydabulov, Murat Nurgaliyev, Ramazan Kabdygalym (all – Pavlodar), Arthur Dayanov, Arsene Abduyev, Igor Dolganov (all – Yekaterinburg), Gaziz Kobylan (Astana) and Gleb Bezmaternykh (Omsk). The Pavlodar judoists, as well as last year, became winners of a team competition. The national teams from Yekaterinburg and Astana were content with the second and third places. Following the results of two competitive days as the best judoist of tournament Igor Dolganov from Yekaterinburg to which Artemov's family handed over a memorable gift – the tablet computer was recognized. The traditional award for the fastest throw also left to the Urals together with Anton Perminov.

On the occasion of tournament the regional administration presented to tarsky sports club "Vityaz" the copier, and the city power the certificate on 10 thousand rubles. Judoists already decided that, having saved up still means, will get to itself the plasma panel the TV – and as the screen for competitions, and for viewing of educational movies and competitions.
