With three medals finished the Grand Prix in the Turkish city of Samsun the Ukrainian judoists. In the second day of prestigious tournament with a prize fund in $100 000 silver was won by Vitaly Dudchik (81 kg, Dnepropetrovsk regional), and bronze Dmitry Luchin (Kiev-Kirovograd regional).

Dudchik began tournament with a victory an assessment a vase-ari over Frenchman Alain Schmidt, then finished ahead of schedule fights with Italian Massimiliano Karollo and the Austrian of Marseille of Ott. Vitaly thanks to an assessment a vase-ari passed Russian Ivan Vorobev in a semi-final. And here in a decisive duel conceded to purely young Frenchman Luis Pyetri.
