In Semey passed the judo wrestling championship among young men and girls 1998-1999.

According to physical culture and sport department, in the weight categories among young men Orazbayev Azamat (38 kg), Balagazinov Eldos (42 kg), Akzamov Bakhtiyar (46 kg), among Sayfollayev Aygerim's girls (44 kg) became winners, Kumasheva Shyryn (48 kg), Karim Zhadyra (52 kg), Benner Maria (63 kg), shared experts of ITs of department of domestic policy of Semey.
