Today on Petrovka, took place 38 ceremony of rewarding of winners of the Championship on the judo, the All-Russian sports and sports society "Dynamo" devoted to the 90 anniversary .

Anatoly Yakunin thanked participants of tournament and congratulated all present on the 90 anniversary of sports society of law enforcement agencies. The chief of the Central board emphasized that each employee of capital police has to go in for sports in case of need to protect inhabitants and guests of the capital.

"We will develop judo, sambo and other types of single combats as it is the integral component of work of the police officer" — Yakunin noted.

The championship took place from March 27 to March 29 in the GU Ministry of Internal Affairs sports complex of Russia across Moscow. 98 employees of the Moscow garrison of police took part in competition as a part of 15 teams.

Participants acted in team and personal competition. Tournament was held in weight categories from 60 to 100 kilograms.

Following the results of the Championship on judo by the winner in an all-team competition there was a national team of Management of protection of the public order, the second place was taken by team of the Department of Internal Affairs on SVAO, the 3rd place – the Department of Internal Affairs on TsAO GU Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia across Moscow.

In team and personal offsets cups, diplomas, medals and memorable gifts were handed over to winners and prize-winners.

Following the results of competitions the national team of the Moscow police for participation in the Championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on judo which will take place during the period from April 25 to April 28, 2013 in the city of Anapa of Krasnodar Krai will be created.
