The tournament held on March 24, was devoted to memory of the fallen law enforcement officers of the Mozdoksky area.
On it 295 participants as a part of 16 teams from North Ossetia, Dagestan, the Chechen Republic, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Stavropol Krai gathered. Representatives of various departments of the area, addressed with parting words to athletes, and also relatives and colleagues of victims, veterans of operations and the master of judo became guests of tournament. Moment of silence all being present honored memory of 18 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs which has heroically fulfilled the professional duty. At the beginning of competitions the Anthem of the Russian Federation was heard. By results of the competitions three athletes which have shared places, won valuable prizes from families of the lost staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and from UFSB. Rewardings of winners were carried out by the deputy head of administration of the area R. Adyrkhayev, the head of administration of the st. Lukovsky S. Minashkina and the prior of the Lukovsky temple priest D. Hestanov. Chief judge of competitions and principal of "Judo" A. Shvetsov expressed special gratitude to sponsors of action without whom the organization of tournament would be impossible. The head of department of administration of the city settlement F.Veliky handed over to captains of teams the memorable books published to the 250 anniversary of Mozdok. Performances of national collective "Cossacks of Terek" (head L.Maksimova) and dancing Amond ensemble (head I.Gagloyev) became decoration of tournament. Demonstration performance of a prospecting company of the 674th regiment of expeditious appointment was remembered.
