The Chechen judoist Tamerlan Bashayev won championship of Russia in judo among young men and girls till 18 years which took place in the middle of February in Volgograd.

In competitions medals in 17 categories (eight – at girls and nine – at young men) and places in Russian national team were played.

Wrestling for awards of "Stalingrad battle" was conducted at once on three "fronts": to federal districts, team competition and personal superiority.

Among guests of honor on official rewarding of athletes there were legendary judoists – the seventeenfold champion and the prize-winner of World Cups, the bronze prize-winner of Olympic Games Anatoly Laryukov and the sevenfold champion of Europe, the prize-winner of two Olympic Games Tamerlan Tmenov.

In dispute of the youthful national teams of the federal districts of Russia by the strongest there was a team of the North Caucasus, on the second place Moscow, on the third - Ural. Girls of the best had the team of Volga region which has left representatives of the South and Siberia.

In command superiority of the best there was a national team of the republic the Northern Ossetia-Alania which has gathered 22 points. On the second – judoists of Chelyabinsk region (20,5очков) the team of Dagestan with 19 points also closed the three of prize-winners.

As Tamerlan shared, the victory was given him hardly.

- Everything was so unpredictable! The final duel was difficult and intriguing. I won't begin to hide: first I had no confidence that I will be able to win against Tuayev, he both is more senior and is more skilled, besides the last year's medallist of superiority of Russia. Therefore after wrestling I tested the real pride that managed to overcome it. The additional incentive to me was given by presence of my father at a hall.

- I want to devote myself to trainer's work and to be engaged with children from children's home to grow up from them eminent athletes that they saw a light, kind aspect of life, - the champion speaks.

The father of the champion Taus Bashayev noted that attaches very great value of its sports life. By the way, judo are engaged also two his eldest sons - in Zelimkhan and Alimkhan so, it is possible to tell, Tamerlan went on their feet.

- The trainer met me, - Taus tells, - Zelimkhan literally in the eyes began to recover. In a year there was a miracle, it already could train fully with all, and still in a couple of years won the first competitions.

The example of the big brother carried away also the younger – Alimkhana and Tamerlan. And today in their general sports moneybox a huge number of awards of the most different advantage won in the junior championships of Moscow, Russia, the international tournaments.

Though gold of superiority of Russia – the most serious sporting achievement, Tamerlan it is sure that it only his career beginning. Most important victories still ahead. It this year is waited by many collecting and tournaments, from them three – very important official starts: June superiority of Europe in Estonia, a July Olympic festival to Rio de Janeiro, and also the World Cup in the USA in September of this year.
