On March 9th in the Estonian city of Võru passed the international tournament being rating for the Latvian athletes in age group U-18.

Judoists took part in competitions from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus, Finland, Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic.

The Latvian judoists won 13 medals. In three weight categories (-50 kg,-73 kg, +90 kg) in final meetings of a medal were played between representatives of Latvia. Kirill Logonovsky (-50 kg) and Ruslan Sokha (-55kg), Andrey Kuramshin (-66 kg) from school of judo of Vsevolod Zelenogo, Stephen Veveris (-73 kg) from LIDO club and the athlete from the Riga area Ralf Rusinsh (+90 kg) became winners of tournament . For Ralf this victory became the fourth in a row on qualifying tournaments.

Silver medals won Roman Avsyukevich (-50 kg) from Ziemeļblāzma club, the athlete of Kyodai club Davis Duda (-73 kg) and Anton Vasilyev (+90 kg) from LIDO club.

Owners of bronze medals became Alexander Anikin (-60 kg) from Satori club, the athlete from Aluksne Roland Dobelniyeks (-66 kg),Ghent Bumeysters (-81 kg), and sportswomen of LIDO club Katerina Zubko (-52 kg) and Victoria Vasilyeva (-57 kg) 

The following stage of selection on superiority of Europe of U-18 and the European Junior Olympic festival will take place on March 23rd in Bremen (Germany).
