From March 4 to March 6 in the MVD rehabilitation center in Vladimir passed the seventh traditional masterful tournament on judo of memory of the Hero of Russia the colonel general of the MVD Ivan Golubev

Ivan Ivanovich Golubev began service to simple operas and served to the deputy minister of the MVD, took part in operations in Afghanistan and in two Chechen campaigns.

At opening of tournament there were heads of regional UMVD, the mayor of Vladimir, I.Golubev's colleagues, his daughter, veterans of sports, including our glorified sambo wrestler Alexander Gorelov.

In team of wrestlers of Kovrov SDYuSShOR of judo and sambo of S.Rybina there were nine athletes: MS Maxim Nekhoroshkov (weight category to 73 kg), MS Sergey Gusev (to 60 kg), MS Alexey Gudylin (to 81 kg), MS Sarkis Kochinyan (to 81 kg), MS Zakidin Aydemirov (to 81 kg), Robert Kochinyan (to 60 kg), Sergey Vozzhannikov (to 81 kg), Konstantin Apykhtin (to 81 kg), Denis Sarancha (to 60 kg).

It was the share to our children of a tatami not easy – victories waited far not for everyone.  S. Vozzhannikov in preliminary fight got on the champion of the country A.Fetisova, and in a consolatory duel – also on the champion of the country A.Karpov therefore competitions for it quickly ended.  But there was an experience of wrestling against rivals of high level, and it is worth a lot.

Unsuccessful it is possible to call D.Saranchi's performance ( lost one fight), S. Kochinyan and K.Apykhtina (one won, two lost). Slightly better Z.Aydemirov looked – he won two fights.

And in final part of competitions there passed our recognized masters M. Nekhoroshkov, S. Gusev and A.Gudylin, and in the ending there was only Nekhoroshkov, and the others fought for the third place.  Maxims to the ending  carried out three fights and surely in them won pure throws.  However in a final duel with the Moscow wrestler M. Nany it passed a throw on "vase-ari", couldn't recoup and took the second place.

Very well Sergey Gusev carried out the fights.  In a semi-final it didn't allow the winner of tournament to carry out any reception and lost according to remarks – two "shydo" against one.  And in fight for the third place easily I overcame the rival.

Alexey Gudylin came out in three duels the winner then in a semi-final  lost Fetisova, and in fight for the third place met Karpov.  Wrestling was equal, but some seconds prior to a gong Alexey got on deduction, and it to his rival was enough for a victory.

Last year Kovrov wrestlers had only the one third place which was taken by A.Gudylin.  This time their performance was better – silver and bronze.

In a team competition the first place was taken by team of Ossetia, on the second place – the Vladimir region, on the third – Krasnodar Krai
