In two days prior to the beginning of Hatsu basyo it is declared that Internet translations of ceremonies and duels become paid.

Through UStream system it will be necessary to pay 120 dollars for viewing of all tournament. One day of translation costs 10 dollars. In sensyuraku (the last day basyo) the cost of viewing will be increased to 15 dollars.

Many years in a row duels of the strongest athletes were broadcast on the official site of Japanese Association of sumo free of charge. Thanks to such translations popularity of national Japanese wrestling around the world steadily increased.

In Japan sumo is sent live by public telebroadcasting corporation "En-Eych-Kaye".
