The board of directors of Japanese Association of sumo satisfied the application 60-year-old ояката with Magaki (the 56th great champion Vakanokhan the Second) about resignation.

Nine months ago oyakata Magaki closed "room" and passed to a position of the junior trainer-mentor (heya-tsuki-oyakata) into Isegakham's school. It could work in sumo Association before achievement of a retirement age (65 years).

Officially resignation is proved by deterioration of a state of health. After the stroke had in the 2007th year brought up eight sekitori okayata Magaki was chained to a wheelchair. However the true reason of an early retirement of the quadruple owner of the Cup of the Emperor – control loss over the trainer's license.

Oyakata Magaki was up to the ears in debt. Trying to rectify the financial situation, the trainer-mentor sold the building in which its former school settled down, and put the license to one of present sekitori, whose name isn't disclosed.

Lack of transparency by transfer (purchase and sale) of trainer's licenses is a stumbling block in the course of receiving by Japanese Association of sumo of the status giving privilege public (bringing activity benefit to society) the organizations.

Therefore all oyakatam were told to submit the documents confirming the right of possession of licenses till December 20th. This requirement couldn't fulfill oyakata Magaki and three more trainers-mentors: oyakata Kasugayama, oyakata Kumagatani and bringing up ozeki Kisenosato oyakata Naruto.

They are warned that can be dismissed from sumo Association if don't obtain in the hands trainer's licenses prior to the beginning of Hatsu starting on January 12th basyo.

Oyakata Naruto (in the past maegasir to Takanotsur) yet didn't pay off with the widow of the former head of this school which has died in November of year before last.

Oyakata Kasugayama (in the past maegasir Hamanisiki) has legal proceedings with the predecessor.

Kumagatani's license the daughter of the former head of school Miyagino, the former wife of the former fighter dzyure controls Kanetik.

Oyakata Magaki was the trainer-mentor of the Young phoenix Vakanokho.
