ISTANBUL OBEYED KURASHISTAM

The national team of Tajikistan on kyrash won four medals in the IX World Cup among adults which took place in Istanbul (Turkey).

Competitions took place with participation of 400 athletes from 50 countries. Athletes fought in seven weight categories among men, and in eight – among women. Representatives of Tajikistan won two gold and two silver medals. Saidzhalol Saidov (81 kg) and Komronshokhi Ustopiriyon (90 kg) became world champions.

In final fight Saidov won a victory over the Uzbek wrestler Bektosh Saparov, and Ustopiriyon was stronger than Iranian Ali Mukhammadniyo. Ismoil Boymurodov (66 kg) and Mukhammadmurod Abdurakhmonov (+100 kg) became silver prize-winners.

Boymurodov conceded in a decisive duel to Sukhrobu Hudoyberdiyev (Uzbekistan), and Abdurakhmonov – the wrestler from Turkey Fayez Ezechi.

We will note that on September 6 the International Association kurash celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of the basis.  This day 1998 in Tashkent the historical first Constituent Congress with participation of representatives of 28 states of Asia, Europe and Ban of America on which the decision on creation of the International Association kurash was made took place.

Meanwhile, kurash the other day it was included in the program of 4 Asian beach games which will take place from November 14 to November 23, 2014 in Phuket (Thailand).
