Development of youth policy – one of the priority directions of society and the state. All say that behind youth the future of our country, and depends on it, in which country we will live years later.

We, unfortunately, live in unusual time: among young people the addictions leading to deformation of the personality widely extended. The youth isn't always capable to resist again arising new forms of temptation and a temptation. However often the rescue comes physical self-development. As numerous slogans say, only clearing the soul and strengthening the body, human life becomes full and saturated. And the saying became "a sound mind in a sound body" especially actual.

Absolutely not casually, I set the task of promoting of national traditional sports for itself DUM of Moscow and the Central region "Moscow Muftiyat". Efforts of employees muftiyat in Asadullayev's House – the Tatar cultural center of the city of Moscow – succeeded to carry out on December 8, 2013 championship in national Tatar wrestling "Koresh". More than sixty pupils of specialized schools of the Olympic reserve for children and young people took part in competition aged from 15 till 17 years.

Action was noted the presence by distinguished guests: the double world champion, the prize-winner of the Olympic Games in Greco-Roman wrestling – Farkhat Mustafin; the Honoured Master of Sports, the double world champion in wrestling on belts – Ramil Nurimanov; the world champion, the champion of Europe, the master of sports of the international class – Rushan Ramazanov. At official opening with welcome speech the chairman addressed to participants of "the Moscow Muftiyat" – Albir Krganov, calling athletes, to be a moral and success example, to work for the good of society and the state, to honor sports traditions of the people.

Participants of competition acted in 6 weight categories and showed high professional results. The leader in weight category of 52 kg. there was Hasyanov Ilgiz, the second position was taken by Yuldashev Islam. In the weight of 57 kg. Gafurov Kamil got the first place, Shaymardankul Uulu slightly lagged behind it. In the weight of 65 kg. the award of gold advantage was received by Yakhjyaev Abu-Bakar, Karasyov Alexander became the second. Pedestal step in category of 75 kg. Shidakov Akhmat gained, Eremyan Artem got silver. In category of 85 kg. Papoyan Gevork, after it – Hafisov Ruslan became the winner. As the leader in weight 95+ Musin Ramys, the second place – for Aslanyan Edgar is recognized. Progress of participants of tournament was noted by special prizes, diplomas and medals.

According to the head coach of Russian national team on wrestling on belts – Adipa Valemeeva, athletes adequately passed selection duels, having shown the skills, level of physical preparation, skill and equipment. He as noted the importance of this sport: "Koresh” – one of darlings and popular types of wrestling. In spite of the fact that it has similarity to wrestling on the belts, some differences nevertheless are. The throw through a breast with a separation from the earth or from a floor is set off here only. It seems, anything difficult isn't present, but all complexity also consists in this seeming simplicity – it is necessary to possess not only physical force, but also it is fine to own wrestling equipment – statement of hands, feet and a trunk – skills which are fulfilled for years. It is honest, without any dirty tricks wrestling. For it it also love".

Wrestling "Koresh" along with customs, ceremonies, traditions makes considerable part of national culture of the Tatar people. This wrestling belongs to national sports, has the centuries-old history and is very popular with the people of the Volga region, the Urals and other regions of Russia, the near and far abroad. This national sport endures the real revival: periodically pass national superiority, the European championships and the world. It can be seen in the sports championships and festivals, on professional tournaments and the maydanakh of a national holiday a drinking bout where along with professional wrestlers, everyone takes part.
