The resident of Simferopol appeared the strongest kureshist

In Simferopol came to the end ​V the International tournament among men on national wrestling Kuresh "Kjurban kureshleri", dated for one of the most important holidays in Islam - to day of sacrifice Kurban Bairam (Id al Adkha) .

Let's remind, about 150 athletes took part in these competitions from 4 countries. On a wrestling mat in the Simferopol sport center "Locomotive" participants of national teams, prize-winners of the World Cups and Europe from Ukraine, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria met. The Olympic champion in wrestling Rustem Kazakov became the chief judge of tournament.
After preliminary fights from 150 participants to the finish came only 28.  Among them prizes in various weight categories also were played.  All winners together with a medal and cups won monetary prizes.  And, of course, each champion got a traditional ram.  Athletes lifted "a live prize" on shoulders and did with it a lap of honor. 
But the duel of athletes in absolute weight became the most long-awaited and exciting moment of tournament. To a wrestling mat there could be all wishing, and their weight category any more had no value.
The simferopolets Arsene Yunusov became the champion of tournament in absolute weight. He received the title "Pelvan" ("Athlete") and a medal cast from pure gold.
The management of Crimean federation of national wrestling Kuresh who has acted as the organizer of tournament, promised:  such large-scale competitions from now on will be annual. 
As general sponsors of tournament acted the Association of the Crimean Tatars in Kiev "Kjyrym Dzhemiyeti", the Crimean international business association "SIBA". Insurance partner of competitions: Brokbusiness.
Kuresh — a traditional sport at the Crimean Tatars and other Turkic people, national wrestling on belts. Remaining an integral part of national holidays, Kuresh is a component of crimean-tatar national culture. This sport and enjoys wide popularity today in the Crimea, and also in Romania, Turkey and some other the countries where descendants of the Crimean Tatars who have left the Crimea in the XVIII-XIX centuries live.
Now in the Crimea openly about ten schools on wrestling Kuresh, the Crimean Federation of national wrestling "Kuresh" is created.
