In the Chinese Taipei passed the championship of Asia among youth and cadets on kuresh in which the national team of Tajikistan benefited eight medals.

Over 150 athletes participated in prestigious competitions from 20 countries of the continent. The national team of Tajikistan under the leadership of trainer Sherali Bozorova was provided by eight athletes. Sarakhonov (46 kg) and Hurshed Madzhidov (+77 kg) rose by the higher step of a pedestal – among cadets Safarbek Murodov (77 kg) and Sukhrobi Akbarsho (83 kg) in competitions among youth, Mukhammadrakhim. Silver awards were won by Navruzi Hasan (46 kg) and Sherzod Shaykhov (90 kg) among youth and Farrukhi Ilkhomdzhon (71 kg) among cadets. Bronze medal on account of Bakhodur Halimov (66 kg) in competitions among youth.
