Kuresh is a traditional wrestling of the Turkic people which is carried out as wrestling on belts. At the Bashkir, Chuvashs, Tatars kuresh is an important making part of national holidays – the Drinking bout, Dzhiyen and Akatuya. This wrestling is and in the register of national sports. Won the All-Russian competitions the rank of the master of sports is awarded.

 On April 13, 2013 with a gym of BRGI No. 3 I passed Open tournament on national wrestling "Kuresh" devoted to Year of environmental protection and the 60 anniversary of of Kumertau. The Kugarchinsky area, the Kuyurgazinsky area, of Kumertau participated.
