According to him, popularity of national Kazakh wrestling grows in the world.

In particular, in February of the current year at a festival of traditional types of wrestling with FILA association support where 6 types of fight enter, including and the kazak kuresi, in the city of Cape Town (Republic of South Africa) Africans competed among themselves on the kazak kuresi.

About 100 thousand wrestlers from more than 2 thousand rural districts of the republic took part in Kazakhstan in the first stage of tournament on the kazak  kuresi "Kazakhstan Barysy".
