The nineteen-year-old judoist of sports club "Dinamo-Sileyr" Sergey Zverev became an owner at once two gold awards from the junior Championship of Ukraine which took place in Odessa.

Dnepropetrovsktyazh was one head stronger than the rivals in individual tournament, I became the owner of gold and in team. The titled young wrestler, the silver prize-winner of the cadet World Cup-2011 Sergey told about the success in interview.

- Sergey, last year you finished the Championship of Ukraine among juniors with bronze, in the current season came back home at once with two gold awards. How you can explain such progress?

- I prepared for national superiority seriously, after all it is a selection stage to the European championships and the world among juniors. Seriously I approached to trainings, it was adjusted morally and spiritually and I won a victory.

- Your trainer, Anatoly Ivanovich Pirog, shared a secret: to this start you fulfilled new elements of equipment …

- Yes, Anatoly Ivanovich together with my clubmate - the repeated prize-winner of the World Cups and Europe - Sergey Balaban showed to koronochek steam of the! (laughs). We planned if in the final there is such moment, it is necessary to use house preparations and to go all the way, so in a result and it turned out.

- In the final the new equipment succeeded to surprise Yakov Hammo?

- Yes, we already met Yasha once on official national start. In 2013 in the youth Championship of Ukraine

I won against it fight for bronze. In general Yakov - the worthy rival, it is the bronze prize-winner of the junior European championship, the winner of European cups and the bronze prize-winner of the last year's junior World Cup in team. This is the serious guy. The final was very fast: 30 seconds. I transferred at once fight to orchestra seats, started doing deduction and finished everything suffocating.

- How passed for you individual tournament?

- One circle I passed also three finished wrestling, all three duels finished purely. In the beginning I won against the inhabitant of Odessa pickup, then a back footboard I won against Fedor Panko from Donetsk is a serious rival, Champion of Europe among cadets, well and the final with Yasha was farther.

- In temporary aspect this Championship of Ukraine for you was ultrashort …

- Three fights, generally, lasted somewhere one and a half minutes.

- I personally expected that you together with the clubmate Nodar Machutadze "will organize" the Dnepropetrovsk final in weight category of +100 kg …

- I too hoped for it (smiles). But this time it didn't turn out. In Nodar's final Yakov Hammo, and it didn't pass, I will repeat, very serious guy, goes often on the international competitions among adults, is the candidate for the main national team. Nodar adequately battled in a duel to Hammo, but was injured, having torn sheaves on a foot.

- What tasks faced the first team of Dnepropetrovsk in the competitions "wall on a wall"?

- Team tournament – very special. I consider that it was even more important, than personal. The trainer adjusted us only on a victory, even after personal competitions didn't allow to have a rest and sent all to sleep according to a mode. The Dnepropetrovsk team - solid, command spirit very strong at us, we supported each other and with the God's help won. In the first meeting passed a strong team of Kharkov 4:1, in the second won with the score 3:2 against Donetsk and the final won against Kiev also 3:2.

- You managed to be overcome?

- Guys strongly tried (laughs). In all three duels of the "wall on a wall" tournament our children got victories in the first three weight categories - 66, 73 both 81 kg, and meetings in my weight over 90 kg already solved nothing.

- Whom would you allocate from the Dnepropetrovsk wrestlers in this Championship of Ukraine?

- I can allocate nobody. Were up all both in personal, and in team tournament, all fought to the last to standard!

- What your next competitive plans?

- I act also in sambo, will fight on April 10 in the European championship in Spain. In judo the next start is an European cup in St. Petersburg, however, while I don't know, whether there will go the Ukrainian command to fight to Russia in connection with the latest events. And there will be selection European cups of U21 in Poland and Hungary in the summer.

- Your favourite sport is sambo or nevertheless judo?

- It is pleasant to fight both in sambo, and in judo, but I love after all judo more!
