The vice-president of capital federation of judo told the correspondent of "The Soviet sports" about development of sports for children and young people in educational institutions of Moscow and explained why the presidential sport imposes additional responsibility on federation activity.

JUDO ARE ENGAGED MORE THAN 15 000 MUSCOVITES

– Dmitry Valeriyevich, you can reason why the son of my acquaintances has to go to judo section, than this sport is attractive?

– First, judo is the Olympic sport. The child for the first time coming to a hall, has opportunity to become the Olympic champion, to achieve the maximum sports objectives.

Besides, judo is the certain way of life beginning with bow on a carpet. It builds the necessary system of values at the child. Command sports allow to shift to some extent responsibility to others, in judo it is possible to hope only for itself.

– Where it is possible to work this fine sport in Moscow?

– In the Russian capital – more than 150 clubs of judo. They are located in all administrative districts of Moscow. About 15 000 athletes are engaged in clubs. We don't want to inflate this figure for the sake of the beautiful reporting, but precisely we know that people chose judo consciously.

– How you plan to expand geography?

– In recent years successfully the program for creation of the centers of judo on the basis of comprehensive schools which is approved by Department of Education of the city of Moscow works. Them while 15. Here 3000 athletes are engaged. Quite recently the federation opened two more such centers. One of them settles down on the basis of GBOU of Cadet boarding school No. 10 "Moscow military school of police".

In the allocated sports hall the federation does repair, lays a tatami, sends trainers. In the first half of day physical education classes with judo elements, and after a dinner – full-fledged section for pupils of these schools here are conducted.

Sometimes sports clubs are located far from schools – and it is a headache for parents who want that their children grew the sports. And in our case of the child lead for study to eight o'clock in the morning, and it is busy till six evenings.

The federation of occupation and for preschool children from the nearest kindergartens carries out. Children from preparatory groups go on easy trainings 1–2 times a week. If they like judo, parents try to send boys and girls to this school. And in the long term children will get to a sports specialized class.

– In the fall of last year at the initiative of the Commission on sports, tourism and leisure of Civic chamber of the city of Moscow which you head, the Association of the Moscow sports federations on development of school sports was created. What its main goals?

– Not a secret that questions of development of children's and youthful sports have extremely importance and are the indicator of successful development of all social sphere of the capital. And the effective and effective administrative model is necessary for successful development of sports for children and young people. The association is formed for quality control of work of sports sections in establishments of Department of Education of Moscow and level of preparation of trainer's and teaching structure.

Within the project the lesson of physical culture becomes profile focused. For this teacher of physical culture will pass additional retraining on those sports which will be presented in concrete educational institution. From the second half of day at schools for pupils sports sections will work.

The sports federations accredited by Moskomsport can be admitted to association. It was entered already by capital federations of basketball, judo, track and field athletics, gymnastics and sumo.

MOSCOW FOR THE FIRST TIME WON THE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP OF RUSSIA

– Let's talk about a sport of records. How progress of our athletes at the Olympic Games-2012 in London affected popularity of capital judo?

– In the first three months the quantity wishing to be engaged in judo sharply increased. But the Olympic medals stimulate those who already goes to sections and clubs more. Both children, and their parents start understanding that to ascend to the Olympic podium quite really. By the way, an important role play also good bonus which are received by athletes. After all they want to go by the good car, to drive the girl in restaurants. Sometimes it is difficult to explain why their many contemporaries have all this, without putting efforts, and they should train in the sports hall day by day. And it lasts for years!

We in Federation of judo of Moscow approved the sums bonus six years ago, beginning from national championship and finishing the Olympic Games. They are comparable to that the federal and Moscow authorities pay for progress.

The caused a stir athletes and trainers are congratulated and awarded usually by the president of Federation of judo of Moscow, the chairman of the Moscow City Council Vladimir Mikhaylovich Platonov. He in the childhood was engaged in sambo and judo therefore with a great interest directs federation and takes in its activity active part.

– How many Muscovites are the main part of national team?

– 21 persons. The most known and deserved from acting Moscow judoists – the silver prize-winner of the Olympic Games-2012 in London, the quadruple world champion, the sixfold champion of Europe, 9 multiple champion of Russia Alexander Mikhaylin.

In October of last year, by the way, the national team of Moscow for the first time won a team championship of the country which passed in St. Petersburg. We always had a strong team, we got in prize-winners, but for a victory something didn't suffice.

– How the well-known Moscow judoists help to popularize your sport in the capital?

– They are always ready to address young athletes. A lot of work on promoting and judo development in Moscow and Russia is carried out by the bronze prize-winner of the Olympic Games-2004, the deputy of the State Duma Dmitry Nosov. To children words of big champions are very important.

Many children, having achieved progress on a tatami, after the end of career remain to work as trainers. I will cite as an example Dmitry Kabanov and Pavel Funtikov. They already now have tens pupils who won national championships, became prize-winners of the World Cups and Europe.

– Judo call a presidential sport as the Russian President Vladimir Putin was engaged in it. This fact helps with the solution of the vital issues?

– That fact that judo call a presidential sport, imposes on us additional responsibility. Vladimir Vladimirovich as you know, and itself comes to a carpet, visits trainings of a national team of team. The federation of judo of Moscow tries with honor to fly a judo flag, as well as the first number of a national team of Russia, the Moscow athlete Alexander Mikhaylin. Its sports way – a model of service to sports, a fine example of manifestation of will. Passed three Olympic cycles, he was selected on the London Olympic Games where in uncompromising fight I won a silver medal. Its act and fidelity to the begun business are an example for young Moscow athletes judoists.

REFERENCE "SOVIET SPORTS"

The federation of judo of Moscow is regional representation of Federation of judo of Russia. Priority tasks of federation are development and judo promoting as sport and the martial art having applied and improving value; promotion of a healthy lifestyle and universal values.
