From November 29th to December 1st in Krasnoyarsk passed the IX International tournament on free-style wrestling on prizes of the triple Olympic champion Buvaysar Saytiyev

The representative Saytiyeva in Europe, the president of Vaynakh Association Iza Gambulatov completed delegation from representatives of several European countries for participation in tournament. Upon return of Gambulatov from Krasnoyarsk we asked it to share impressions of a trip.

- How passed travel to Krasnoyarsk and back?

- Very successfully. Flied through Moscow, the main thing – there were no delays of flights.

- Remind structure of delegation which you headed.

- The delegation consisted of ten people. There had to be twelve, but two wrestlers didn't manage to process documents. As a result in delegation there were 5 athletes, 3 judges and 2 trainers.

- It was difficult to bring together judges and athletes from the different countries?

- Yes, it was hard. On all organization of a trip we had two months. During this time it was necessary both to receive visas, and to provide the budget. For Europeans it is very small term, such travel they usually prepare in a year forward. But it were my friends and colleagues. And they agreed to arrive on Saytiyev's tournament, despite emergency red tape.

- Too you were engaged in their visas?

- Generally – I. And taking an opportunity I would like to express huge gratitude to the Consul general of Russia in Antwerp Mr. Petrachkov Alexander Fedorovich and his assistant Morozov Mikhail Nikolaevich who, насмотряthat the consulate was in process of resettlement on a new place and repair, accepted our documents and without delays opened visas.

- Members of your delegation happened earlier in Russia?

- Some were long ago, but the majority went for the first time.

- How you met in Krasnoyarsk?

- At the airport of Krasnoyarsk we were met by big group with posters of tournament of Saytiyev and translators. Lodged in good 4-stars hotel "Krasnoyarsk".

- What you will tell about the tournament organization?

- I already for the third time was on Saytiyev's tournament and I can tell that every year it everything becomes better and better. The organization at the highest level, beginning from meetings of delegations at the airport and before tournament closing. It is valid, a big and beautiful holiday for all. And I didn't see such fantastic opening ceremony on one tournament. Many thanks for all this to organizers. Separately I would like to thank the president of Fund Saytiyev – Ismail Sosiyev, and also the worker of a city administration, our fellow countryman Ramzan Sokayev, the champion of Europe Zaur Botayev, all sponsors and volunteers.

- The structure of participants was strong?

- There were about 350 wrestlers from 10 countries of the near and far abroad. As my colleagues told, it was the small World Cup.

- On tournament there was no team from the Chechen Republic, don't know why?

- I don't know. Probably, there were financial problems or other reasons. Anyway, it looked ugly in relation to the well-known Saytiyev. I hope, such won't repeat any more.

- How athletes from your delegation acted?

- In whole, acted not bad. One wrestler became a champion, two won on two fights and included in the top ten … I will remind, the structure of participants was very strong.

- How passed refereeing for you and your colleagues from Germany and Holland?

- I was the head of a carpet of "B", my German colleague Hirst Faller directed a carpet "With", Dutch Joonas van de Meeren judged on three carpets. We normally coped with the duties, claims to us weren't.

- To whom communicated from known guests of tournament?

- With many well-known athletes, the trainers known for politicians. I got acquainted with Aslambek Aslakhanov, talked to the well-known doctor Hassan Baiyev, the vice-president of FSBR Alikhan Harsiyev and many others.

- What impression of a trip remained at your partners?

- They are very happy with a trip. The delegation from Europe will increase by the following tournament, at least, twice. Over it I will start working already now.
