During the period from August 26 to September 1 in the Brazilian Rio de Janeiro passed the 28th judo World Cup. On an ended world championship our national team took the 15th all-command place.

The head coach of the man's national team of Kazakhstan on judo Ermek Imanbekov in interview to the republican Sports.kz Internet portal shared the opinion on the results shown by our man's national team in Rio.

— Ermek Abuyevich, in the judo World Cup in Brazil our team took the 15th all-command place, having won one silver medal. How you estimate such result?

— As you know, in the World Cup of 2010 at our national team of medals wasn't. In the 2011th in Paris one silver medal was won by Maxim Rakov. In the World Cup in Brazil our judoists showed quite good result: one bronze medal won by Azamat Mukanov, two our wrestlers took the fifth place and two more became the seventh. As a whole, I consider that we acted not bad — if before a medal to us brought only Cancers, now there were also other children, capable to show good result. The two fifth and two seventh places — it too is quite good, already close to medals. Certainly, could act more successfully Maxim Rakov, Islam Bozbayev, Eldos Smetov, but at them it didn't turn out. As a whole, I consider, work goes quite good — everything systematically, we move in a right direction.

— Going to Brazil, on what result you counted?

— We counted on two medals — one gold and one bronze. Mukanov could win and a gold medal in Brazil. If you saw its final fight, probably, noticed that it it is very good отборолся four minutes of a duel — took a hand of the Japanese on painful reception, stretched the rival, but at it it didn't turn out to carry out it. Last minute the Japanese judoist gathered, carried out a productive throw and won fight.

— Whether you expected such successful performance from Azamat Mukanov?

— Yes, of course, expected. We saw in what it to a form was at the previous competitions therefore expected from it a good result. On a way to the ending Azamat overcame very strong rival from Japan Masaaki Fukuoku, but fight for an exit in the ending when Mukanov in a semi-final met Ukrainian George Zantaraya who in 2009 was world champion, in the 2010th — the silver prize-winner of a world championship, and in the 2011th — bronze was the most difficult duel for it, probably. He won against very terrible rival.

— In your opinion, that didn't suffice Maxim Rakov, Islam to Bozbayev, Sergey Limu for successful performance?

— Let's begin with Sergey Lima. For the sixth day of adaptation it began a felon on a foot, and it even plainly couldn't carry out capture. The doctor did everything possible, but the wound inflamed more and more therefore right after the carried-out fight to Sergey operation was performed. As for Bozbayev's Islam as you know, it passed to weight category of 90 kilograms therefore the athlete didn't have enough physical preparation in this weight category — after all with equipment at it everything is all right. Maxim Rakov, probably, wasn't up to the end restored after a trauma: many judoists carried out on five, and even more, competitions to the World Cup, and Maxim participated only in two. Probably, it yet didn't gather the form.

— The impression is made that leading Kazakhstan judoist Maxim Rakov psychologically "broke" on the Olympic Games and won't recover in any way. How you consider, whether he will be able to act again at former level?

— Whether there will be able to be it to the former level, will be to veil only from its character. I think that — yes. The athlete didn't depart yet from defeat on the Olympic Games, after all many athletes for years can't be restored after such and often it remember. I talked to it on this subject, and Cancers himself doesn't deny that, most likely, it didn't depart from the Olympic Games. We hope that Maxim already shortly comes to the former level and will please us with the successes.

— As a whole, what you can tell about level of last championship, about its organization?

— Level of tournament was very strong. And here the organization was rather weak. The matter is that the hall for warm-up before fight was very small, and in it it was impossible to fight normally. At all other competitions — both on youth, and on adults — halls for warm-up were much more. Still complaints caused buses: there was certain time when they went from a place of competitions, and then they went only an every two hours. And so, as a whole, tournament was held at good level.

— In Brazil, as we know, local ju-jitsu, other martial arts is perfectly developed. And whether it is possible to tell, what it is the dzyudoistsky country?

— At them good result showed both girls, and men. In Brazil as head coaches in the female and man's national team Japanese experts so they prepare on Japanese technology work.

— What you can tell about championship refereeing?

— Refereeing was normal, at least — with participation of our judoists.

— Whether it happened at other world's end to Kazakhstan citizens of any embarrassment, funny situations?

—  No, anything such didn't happen to our athletes.  They say that with the Ukrainian judoists there was any incident on a beach to locals — know, in Brazil a high crime rate.
