Name of wrestler Ivan Kuylakov recently very famous. The athlete is 27 years old, he was born in settlement Spirovo of the Tver region. Ivan made a number of victories at regional and federal levels, however it found true popularity after the World summer university games in Kazan. Having won a final duel, Ivan Kuylakov became the winner of university games in Greco-Roman wrestling in weight category to 60 kg

– Ivan, what brightest impressions remained with you from university games?

– Only the positive. The organization was pleasant to me: friends athletes say that wasn't worse, than on Olympic Games in London. Fed to satiety – the Swedish glade, national kitchens though reached and McDonald's.

– You had strong rivals?

– Certainly, not the weak. Everyone comes to a carpet to win, and does for this purpose everything. The victory always hardly is given.

– Trainers gave an assessment to your actions in tournament and is concrete in the ending?

– At us doesn't happen that the trainer of wrestling made comments. Happens that the first wrestling not so well goes. Then it is necessary to be adjusted, "fought". My ending usually passes better. I can't tell that strongly praised, personal trainers, of course, were glad. We any more at that age that us praised highly. "The good fellow, beautifully fought", is, probably, superfluous even.

– And now you have a rest?

– While yes: bringing collecting will be in September. We train according to the plan, we keep a physical shape. The athlete has simply no rest. There are only recovery trainings: on an hour to run or jump. The whole day on a sofa we don't lie. And on collecting the schedule such: in the 8th mornings hour charging and two trainings for two hours.

– How Greco-Roman wrestling is presented in Tver?

– I won't call this level high. There is a wish that athletes and trainers was more. Recently children train in sport center "Proletarka", there two carpets lie. There are excellent trainers, for example Ruslan Yusufov. The youth has to have an incentive to train, and not just passion which dies away with age. It is necessary to interest. Many even simply don't know that it for style – Greco-Roman wrestling. Advertizing aren't present.

– How you think, what prospects at the Tver sports?

– It is the political moment, I try not to penetrate into it. If in the power there are athletes, of course, there will be also a prospect. The Tver region is such big center, it near Moscow. However there aren't enough Olympic champions. Them has to be much more, both world champions, and champions of Europe. And if they aren't present, so something goes not so. For example, I always want to hear: the national team of the Tver region on kayaks and a canoe won the Olympic gold! So there is a wish that Tver somewhere sounded! Also there is a wish that the authorities facing our athletes turned.
