– The knockout on the first seconds is cool!
– Frankly speaking, and itself I didn't expect that I will be able to finish fight so quickly. Though it was adjusted on an early victory. There were at me for this purpose certain practices both in orchestra seats, and in a rack. But as soon as the duel began, I understood that there is a chance not to shelve a victory. Sparks opened a chin, and I exactly there got. Then already I finished the rival in orchestra seats then the judge stopped fight.

– You the world champion in sambo, but won at the expense of shock equipment. Paradox?
– No. The mixed single combats demand to be universal. The last year I worked much over blows, even to the detriment of wrestling. But the choice isn't present – not to do without good shock equipment. It and is spectacular, and for a victory it is necessary. A lot of things depend and on the rival. Before a duel I study its manner of conducting fight and, proceeding from it, I develop the tactics.

– Who to you put blow?
– Here I was helped by the boxing coach from Bryansk "Locomotive" Oleg Lomakin. And over wrestling aspects before fight with Sparksom I worked together with brother Dmitry who is the master of sports of the international class on sambo. It was with me on collecting and very much to me helped. By the way, I by preparation had to pay a close attention and to a kickboxing, and wrestling. After all my rival left Thai boxing. So it was necessary to master both blows feet, and protection against them.

– What is the time it is required to you on that being restored after fight?
– Having returned from America, I spent week with a family, but already the other day I will start training. The following fight at me not far off, and on July 31 I in the ending of the Grand Prix will fight with one more American fighter Ryan Martinez. In case of a victory I will have an opportunity to be overcome for a title of the world champion in the heavy weight of Bellator with his present owner Russian Alexander Volkov.

– You already properly studied a manner of fight of Martinez?
– While only it is superficial. Detailed analysis will be later. But already now I approximately represent, in what manner it works and as me to build preparation for fight.

– How many duels in a year fighters in the mixed single combats will see off?
– Here all individually. Someone can fight though every week … But if to take serious athletes, at them it is gathered from four to six fights in a year. You judge – high-quality preparation for a duel takes about two months. However, now I should fight according to more rigid schedule – once a month. This decision of organizers.

– When you will return to sports sambo and whether you will return in general?
– I don't leave sambo. To combine the mixed single combats and fight difficult, and now preparation for Bellator takes all my time. But the main tournaments on sambo I only in the middle of the fall, and to gather a form, will have time.
