- What changes were undergone by judo for these years?

- Yes, judo doesn't stand still, is constantly improved. Very strong wrestlers are today not only in Russia, but also in France, in Germany, in Italy. - to Japanese - it is necessary ancestors of judo hardly. Progress big both in equipment, and in wrestling geography. To remember at least Olympic Games in London on which the Russian athletes won three gold medals, for the first time for all history of the Soviet and Russian judo! And four could, easily! - You the active person of an active living position, much already made, and you want to make even more. Sports training helps with today's work?

- Valery Nikitich, tell about the All-Russian Federation of oriental martial arts of deafs which you head. How everything began, than the Federation now is engaged?

- We created Federation together with Vasily Yuryevich Yemelyanov with big support of the world champion and Vladimir Mikhaylovich Nevzorov and Andrey Alekseevich Tsyupachenko's Olympic Games.

Simply came to a conclusion that someone should create such organization. Created – and correctly made. Today judo - sports of the President. Thanks to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin's identity of judo became very popular. Today to sections and clubs there is a mass inflow of beginners. And people with a hearing disorder too want to be engaged. Our Federation today – one of motors which moves judo in the country. We hold the championships and superiority, Cups of Russia on judo among deafs. From start to start skill of wrestlers grows. It can't but please.

Now colleagues, colleagues on Federation have one dream. The room where it would be possible to open Club of oriental martial arts is necessary, and there to carry out with younger generation, with youth educational work, to impart culture of martial arts, to teach respect for seniors.

Constantly the calendar of the international competitions extends. The World Cups among deafs are held, judo is included in the program of Deaflympics. I hope that the Russian judoists and representatives of other types of single combats will successfully make a speech at the next Deaflympics in Sofia in August of this year.

In plans of our Federation, together with Deaflympic committee of Russia which I head, and the Ministry of sports of the Russian Federation to organize in 2014 in Russia the first youth oriental martial arts World Cup among deafs. And in 2015 to hold the same championship among the Pacific Rim countries.

- Tell about traditional tournament on judo of your name in the Oryol region which you support?

- Yes, on Orlovshchina, in Homutovo's small town such tournament is held. This year there will be already the tenth, anniversary. All began that I looked for a place where to locate, settle, be engaged in economy. After long "кочевья" found such place in one of villages in the Oryol region. There the small reserve, grows many melliferous herbs - really "a gold corner of Russia".Завел bees, an apiary now – more than hundred beehives. Gradually, at first in villages, small towns, and then and across all Orlovshchina went: there is such Valery Nikitich - the numerous Champion of the USSR, the double prize-winner of Europe, the sixfold champion of Deaflympics. Invited me in the regional center to participate in collaboration in judo development.

For a start small profit on sales of honey enclosed in section creation in Shatilovo's village of the Novoderevenkovsky area. I bought a tatami, took for a salary of the trainer. So work began, and gradually judo in the regional center began to develop. And business reached the tournaments, the first took place in 2003. competitions slowly became popular, prestigious. Often we receive on tournament guests from the government of the Oryol region, deputies, representatives of Federation of judo of Central federal district.
