Last week the Ukrainian judoist Dmitry Luchin won a bronze award on prestigious international tournament of the Grand Prix series in the Turkish Samsun.

At the end of last year Dmitry concluded the agreement with federation of judo of the Kirovograd area and now at all official competitions represents Kiev and our area. The first interview the capital judoist whom it is possible to call already safely ours, gave to an official site of federation of judo and sambo of the Kirovograd area.
- Comment on the performance in Turkey?
- The award for me was expected. Before tournament, as a part of the national team of Ukraine, I fulfilled very good educational and training collecting in the Czech Republic. Loadings were very big: fought much, tightened all-physical preparation. In Turkey I won against two very strong wrestlers, participants of the last Olympic Games. In fight for the third place I won against the bronze prize-winner of Olympic Games of 2008 Beijing and 2012 in London - Dutch Henk Grohl. As a whole the performance I consider worthy.


- Defeat in the third duel from the bronze prize-winner of ChM-2009 of Ramadan Darvish from Egypt didn't affect you, didn't break psychologically?
- Frankly speaking, no. I expected to win against it and had on it all bases, to me it was on forces. On collecting in the Czech Republic I several times fought against it and no special problems had. Therefore before a meeting with the Egyptian, it was already adjusted on a semi-final with Russian Bisultanov. I thought that I will win against the Egyptian easily, but it wasn't lucky a little. It was necessary to fight in consolatory fights where I nevertheless succeeded and rose by a podium.
- You are happy with conditions which were created to you by our regional federation? As far as I know in the contract it was a question of material support of training process, financing of departures on competitions and educational and training collecting, etc.?
- Yes, for today all conditions are satisfied, I am happy with everything.
Dmitry Luchina's cooperation with federation of judo of the Kirovograd area president Andrey Tabalov commented on it:
- Our regional federation developed the plan as representatives of the region to get to an Olympic team of Ukraine. We concluded agreements with two leading athletes of the country - Kedzhau Nyabali and Dmitry Luchin to prepare them during a four-year Olympic cycle for the Olympic Games-2016 in Rio de Janeiro. Here before us already and the first success: Dmitry Luchin took the third place on the Grand Prix tournament in Turkey. It is sure that it is only first signs. I think, as Kedzhau Nyabali who in Turkey was the ninth, in the future too will show result. On the previous tournaments he fought better therefore I consider that he has all ahead.
