Nepobezhdenny Avenue of Kayo Mena (7-0) which was injured in street fight, begun because of behavior of his companion Maykel Falkao (32-5), is promptly restored and already makes plans for return to a cage.
"I in norm, everything is all right. I take a course of physical therapy and I can't wait for opportunity to return to performances. Very much I wait for it. To solve only to me, but it is sure, as the family will support me" — Kayo Mena told.
Mena was discharged from hospital in December, and meanwhile early seriously to speak about return to sports as the fighter lost 70% of sight on one eye and doctors were compelled to remove part of its cranium which returned back four months later, after a number of difficult operations.
Kaua Mena, the younger brother Kayo, reported that at present both doctors, and a family of the athlete are adjusted positively and sure that his health is normalized soon:
"Any concrete terms it is impossible to call because restoration will be very long. It undergoes physiotherapeutic procedures once a day, seven days in a week.
If it becomes better for it within the next months, the doctor will examine it and will solve, whether he will be able to fight again. I think, he will want to resume career.
The doctor told that Kayo's life will return back to normal, but we aren't sure that his state will allow it to return to MMA.
His memory becomes better every day. The only thing that doesn't suffice to it now — is opportunities again normally to move. But we are sure that it will be able also soon it" — told Kaua.
In spite of the fact that Falkao's behavior became the reason of fight, Mena, seemingly, doesn't harbor malice against the companion:
"I often communicate with it, we perfectly get on. I heard, he won fight few weeks ago" — told to Kayo.
It is known that concerning attacking criminal case upon attempt at murder was brought, but comments on it didn't arrive neither from Mena's family, nor from Falkao's managers.
