On February 15-16 in The Cherry Orchard hotel estate (near Bobruisk) passed the Championship of Republic of Belarus on MMA. For such, yet not very developed in our country (in comparison with Russia, the USA, Brazil... ) sport as the mixed single combats, it is the first so large-scale competition. The Belarusian federation of hand-to-hand fight and the mixed single combats organized it.

Action took place in two "stages". On February 15 organizers weighed athletes and held trainer's and judicial seminars. And directly competitions in all weight categories took place the 16th. Them, by the way, was eight (to 57 kg, to 61 kg, to 66 kg, to 70 kg, to 77 kg, to 84 kg, to 93 kg, + 93 kg). Athletes presented the city, regional and departmental organizations of the republic for MMA. Children of 18 years could participate in the Championship and are more senior. By the way, "wishing" it appeared not so much as it was planned. Participants was only 47.

As the vice-chairman "The Belarusian of federation of hand-to-hand fight and the mixed single combats" Yury Samets shared with us: "Level of athletes grew, there were new names. By results of the Championship the national team is already selected. Now they actively will start training. After all the next action will take place in May. It will be the European championship on MMA, it will pass in Baku..."
