The unbeaten ex-champion of Bellator Ben Askren again in business. "Funks" is going to debut in Asian promotion No. 1 ONE FC on May 30th. And it will battle at once for a title of the champion in light-middleweight weight to the winner of a duel between Nobutats Suzukiya Brock Larson who will take place to Kuala Lumpur on March 14.

Suzukis (10-1-2) and Larson (37-7) will meet in the main fight of the ONE FC tournament: War of Nations in Malaysia also will play among themselves the title of the champion first in the history of the organization in 170 pounds. If the winner doesn't suffer serious injuries, he will be able already to carry out protection of a title against Askren in some weeks.

Askren (12-0) this week was unexpectedly talkative, having distributed some interview and having talked to journalists on the eve of World MMA Awards. In conversation with Yahoo Ben declared:

"I the best, damn it,welterweight in the world, and fans should reconcile to it".

Askren didn't tell with whom exactly he expects to fight for a belt of the champion, but expressed confidence that his ideal record will continue to remain "dry".

"I am going to continue to win each fight which to me will offer is everything that I can make as the fighter".

On hearings, ONE FC is going to land with tournament in Manila in April while May cards, most likely, will accept Indoor Stadium in Singapore. If Askren manages to debut successfully, he at one stroke will put to itself(himself) in a pocket promised it under the contract of $100,000 and a belt of the champion of ONE FC.
