The former champion of UFC in heavy weight, Frank Mir, lost to Daniel Kormye each round of a duel on UFC on FOX 7 in San Jose, however, remained isn't impressed with performance of the winner of the Grand Prix of heavyweights of Strikeforce.
"If at you something perfectly turns out on trainings, it at all doesn't mean that you can repeat the same in fight, by the light of fires", - declared Mir during the media press conference devoted to the forthcoming duel with Josh Barnett on UFC 164. "Because of my physical condition I wasn't confident in that duel that I will suffice until the end of fight. But the good thing was that Kormye, by and large, not a finisher. In duels with me and Josh it simply didn't allow us to do the work, and on it his tactics was under construction. It let to me time know that I not so haven't enough forces as I thought from the very beginning – my gasoline tank wasn't absolutely empty yet. It returned me confidence of the third round, and I began to act more actively"
