Legendary American athlete Jeff Monson visited the championship on the mixed single combat (MMA) "Gold of skiffs" in Orenburg.

Past Saturday, June 29, in Orenburg the real sporting holiday for all fans of fighting single combats - the championship MMA "Gold of Skiffs" took place. On a ring of SKK "Orenburzhye" the best fighters from several regions of Russia and the abroad met.

Then in quality as the guest of honor at competitions there was one of the strongest fighters of a planet, the quadruple world champion in MMA at a heavy weight according to the Pride FC version, the president of the Union of the mixed fighting single combats of MMA of Russia Fedor  EMELYaNENKO. To invite sporting celebrities in regional center became a good tradition. This time the double winner of ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship and the world champion in the Brazilian ju-jitsu, American Jeff of MOHCOH became the special guest of tournament a legend of the mixed single combats. In some hours prior to the championship together with his organizers it participated in a press conference.

- Such tournament as "Gold of skiffs", it was planned long ago. Probably, it becomes annual, - the president of federation of the mixed single combats of the Orenburg region Victor FROLOV tells.

In the championship of Russia the Orenburg children showed the high level of physical and psychological preparation.

The chairman of committee on physical culture and sport of administration of Orenburg Oleg Sankov thanked organizers of tournament for so fine gift to citizens in anniversary year for the city.

Further all attention switched to Jeff Monson to whom at present there were many questions. He told that very much loves Russia and comes to it any more for the first time. Jeff was in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Sochi. And now queue and reached Orenburg.
