Odilbekov won the first professional fight

The Tajik fighter Arthur Odilbekov (85 kg) won the international tournament among professionals on a kickboxing according to the K-1 version which passed in Lanchow (China).

Tournament took place under the auspices of WFL which is one of the most authoritative organizations not only in Asia, but also in the world. Arthur Odilbekov acted in tournament within a match meeting between the national teams of China and the national team of the world. In rivals Arthur Odilbekov in weight category to 85 kg got one of the best kikbokser of China Gao Chan. In the second round Arthur put the right uppercut from below precisely in a jaw to the rival. That failed on a ring. Audience for some seconds abated. The referee started counting a knock-down, but Gao Chan didn't get up as was unconscious. Thus, Odilbekov won the first professional fight in China.

"About this fight I was told in 1,5 weeks. I in general am the fighter of the mixed single combats and to fight in K-1 for me was some kind of test, - told SIA "VS" Arthur Odilbekov. - Especially, against such eminent fighter, as Gao Chan. It was necessary to switch over only to fight in a rack. And by means of trainer Mahomed Gadzhiev who prepared me for this fight, I approached to tournament in full readiness. As for further plans, my promoter reported that in the second half of July it will be possible at me fight on the mixed single combats. I already began prepares for it. However, the rival for the present isn't known. Then in August I will make a speech at the All-Russian tournament of Kulakovsky in Yakutsk".
