The open cup of Almaty was devoted to memory of the known public figure to Ghani Muratbayeva.

Competition collected about one hundred fighters from Zhambylsky, Karaganda, Kyzylordinsky and Almaty areas. The younger age category was won by karagandinets, and at adults persistent fight for the main prize was developed between teams of Almaty and Zhambylsky areas. The top was taken by almatinets, among winners Nursultan Serikbay, Rustem Saylauov, Ruslan Moustapha and others.
