Bellator MMA will soon return with next "a Summer Series", but this time will recede from the usual format.

This summer promotion will reduce number of participants of the tournaments with eight to four fighters, having held the Grand Prix in heavy, semi-heavy and easiest weight category.

"We always seek to organize tournaments so that they were attractive to our fighters and fans", - the president of Bellator, Bjoern Rebni reported. "Our champions will continue to protect consistently the titles against applicants of world level who deserved the right to champion fight. "A summer series" will consist of three tournaments on four participants in everyone, and we are sure that it becomes the next step in our growth and development"

It is expected that "a Summer Series" will consist of three events which will be held in June, July and in August, and in September starts the ninth season, and Bellator will return to the standard format.
