In the past weekend in Kishinev passed the Euroasian championship "Voivodes 2013".

The Moldavian athletes have the first place in an all-team competition. On the second place – team from Azerbaijan, on the third – from Latvia.

By tradition within a festival ritual of delivery of the copy of a sword of Stefan Velikogo and an icon took place. This time the descendant of great writer Alecko Russo, the director general of the Moldavian community in Romania Marian Russo received it. As organizers of the championship reported, the award is awarded for advance of values and traditions of the Moldavian people.

"I am very glad that is invited to this event, I am proud of this award and I believe that the young generation of athletes will adequately present Moldova at the international competitions", - Marian Russo declared.
"We are very glad that to us there arrived strong teams from abroad. RM presented the most trained athletes from different areas, and also a left bank of Dnestr. We hope that, as well as in last years, they will show good results", - the president of federation of "Voivodes" Nikolay Paskara emphasized.

"We very much like to come to Moldova. The championship strong, is a lot of skilled children therefore it is interesting to us to participate in it", - the sportswoman from Latvia Anna Solomko noted.
The European festival held for the third time "Voivodes 2013" brought together more than 300 participants from 10 countries. Among them athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Latvia.
