Yakutia. It is beginning

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) held for the first time the championship on the mixed martial arts of MMA among amateur athletes.
Any wishing could see two-day colourful sports action in Sports palace "50 years of the Victory".
On a game of the championship there were permits on tournament of the Far East which will take place from April 22 to April 24 in Khabarovsk. In turn there candidates on participation in the championship of Russia in Chelyabinsk will be revealed.
To the Yakut ring there were 79 athletes representing 12 teams. Known capital clubs "Mokhsogol", "Slavutich", "Polar bear", "NewEraMMA" were presented, from uluses there arrived fighters from Mountain, Verkhnevilyuysky, Hangalassky. Following the results of two competitive days the national team of the republic on the DVFO championship is created. Since April 23 educational and training collecting in the city of Neryungri will begin.

The president of Federation of the fighting mixed single combats of MMA RS(Ya) Peter Malardyrov following the results of the championship held a press conference which took place at Almazy Anabara company office:
In last championship was a lot of wishing, we refused to nobody. It turned out that in some weight categories registered very large number of people. For example, the weight of 65 kg – 19 people, 70 kg – 17 athletes. Thus, athletes had to see off in day on five fights. It is very difficult, well trained fighter can sustain only. From now on such won't be. On the Russian competitions the best will be selected", - говоритПетр Malardyrov.

Alexey UVAROV, chief judge of competitions:
- Athletes showed high level of preparation it means that there is a good trainer's work on places.
Performances all were correct, there were no violations of the rules and any disqualification. In the republic it was possible to judge great popularity of the mixed single combats on a large number of the audience who has come to the working day since the 10th morning to support participants. Serious approach to the first competitions and already shown interest of general public allow to tell about good prospects of this sport …
