In the summer of 2012 Alexander Emelyanenko visited for the first time Athos in Greece where got acquainted with the Russian monastic community. In December of last year Alexander decided to return to Athos. The fighter lived in a cell of the Russian orthodox monastery, performed work which to it charged: I baked bread, I chopped firewood, I helped on construction of new buildings with a monastery. According to the fighter, stay on Athos helped it to understand better the inner world and surrounding reality. The charismatic 31-year-old heavyweight with a record in fights of the mixed style 21-b, remains the most attractive figure for promoters and the audience.

Organizers of the combative show "Legend" which will take place on May 25, 2013 on the small sports arena Luzhniki, for the present didn't name rival Emelyanenko. Show promises to be unprecedented by quantity of world stars of K-1 and MMA.
