It was the anniversary 20th Bear cub tournament where part was taken by girls and young men of the 97th and 98th year of birth. Wrestling was intense and responsible as part was taken by the best athletes from the next countries: Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and directly Belarus. Action took place in specialized sports institution, the wrestling center which was constructed recently for these purposes.

The Tver athletes participated in weight categories to 50 and 56 (kg). This is Darya Ovchinnikova and Lyudmila Bogdanova who are engaged under the leadership of the trainer A. Ovchinnikov. Girls reached the final, having yielded a leading position to other sportswomen. Both took the 5th places in the weight categories. Despite it, all of them equally could draw to themselves attention and deserve the praise word from the legendary triple Olympic champion Medvedya A.V who wished to girls not to stop on the reached.
