On March 28 in the Daugavpils dume celebrated to Anastasia Grigorieva and congratulated it on a victory in the championship of Europe, reports a municipality site.

Jeanne Kulakova on behalf of a Duma congratulated the sportswoman and her trainer, Sergey Kursitis on big achievement. The city is proud of the athletes who victories popularize a name of Daugavpils.



To congratulate the sportswoman there arrived the president of the Latvian Federation of wrestling of Dzintars Urbanchiks, a congratulation it received as well from Management of sports and the Daugavpils Olympic center.

The chief of the department of sports Alexander Isakov stated big pride of achievements of the sportswoman and wished Anastasia of a title of the world champion and medals on Olympic Games. Anastasia – a magnificent example of that if is the purpose and persistence, it is possible to reach much.

The head of the Daugavpils Olympic center Uldis Pastars told that Anastasia very talented, persistent, purposeful, is a little such athletes.

The president of Federation of wrestling of Dzintars Urbanchiks expressed Anastasia Grigoryeva's gratitude, to her trainer and Daugavpils for this achievement and wrestling promoting as sport.

The sportswoman declared that the victory is a collaboration with the trainer. The victory – big incentive to work further. Competitions were difficult, there were many experiences, but tranquillity of the trainer and his confidence of forces of the sportswoman, very much helped. On Anastas's these competitions I went with big excitement as already I was a favourite, but the spirit of wrestling was stronger than experiences.

Sergey Kursitis is proud as well of that in a rating of wrestlers of Europe of Anastasia on the first place. Now, the main thing – to hold this level and to go forward. The trainer thanks a thought, the Olympic center, Federation for support, differently there would be no such achievements.

The chairman of the Daugavpils thought Jeanne Kulakova handed over to Anastasia Grigoryeva and Sergey Kursitis Certificates of honor for 1 place in the championship of Europe and promoting of a name of the city. Also the chairman expressed gratitude of Federation of wrestling for cooperation and support of wrestlers of Daugavpils.
